ABOUT MAKPALLI

The word Makpalli comes from the Nahuatl language. It means “palm (of the hand)”. We decided to choose this name because of its meaning, since all of our products are handmade or hand-painted by Mexican artisans. Moreover, we also chose it because in Spanish, the world “palma” (palm) can also be understood as both a palm of the hand and a palm tree. This describes our store, Makpalli, perfectly: a place filled with Mexican clothing and handicrafts located in Puerto Vallarta, a tropical paradise and our home.
